Course Overview
This one-day, instructor-led Microsoft Access Intermediate course builds upon foundational Microsoft Access skills, focusing on improving database efficiency, accuracy, and usability. Participants will learn techniques for ensuring data quality, enforcing referential integrity, and normalizing data for better performance and consistency. The course explores advanced query design, form and report customization, and strategies for creating a more user-friendly database environment. By the end of the training, learners will be able to manage complex data relationships, enhance data input reliability, and produce professional forms and reports that support decision-making and productivity. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Enforce data validation and referential integrity to maintain data accuracy.
- Normalize and relate tables to improve database efficiency.
- Create advanced queries to analyze and summarize data.
- Enhance forms and reports with subforms, formatting, and calculated fields.
